Endwell Woman Arrested After Losing Shoe

State police say a woman was arrested after she became enraged when another woman locked her out of an Endwell apartment with one of her shoes still inside.

Authorities say 31-year-old Ashley Westcott of Endwell had been told to leave the North Street apartment during a dispute.

Police say once outside, Wescott was upset because she couldn't get her other shoe. She allegedly kicked the apartment's door, causing about $100 in damage.

Wescott was charged with criminal mischief. She was issued an appearance ticket for Union town court.
