An Endwell woman is accused of getting into a physical altercation with her mother and ex-husband at her mother's home and in the presence of three children under the age of nine.

Broome County Sheriff's officials say they were called to a home on Farm to Market Road in the Town of Maine at around 6:16 p.m. June 1.

Investigators say Cherie Savage allegedly had gone to her mother's house and started a dispute with her, choking her.

Savage apparently attacked her ex-husband, punching him and tearing his shirt when he tried to step in.

Savage fled and was located by authorities several hours later.  Deputies say when they tried to take her into custody, she was uncooperative and fought with them.

Savage is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and harassment.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.
