The annual Endwell Rotary Pre-Election Pancake Breakfast was held today at Atrio, 409 Hooper Road in Endwell.  The breakfast has become an area tradition and has been held for several decades.  Area politicians generally visit and speak with those who attend.

Proceeds from the breakfast go for various projects involving the Endwell Rotary.  The Rotary supports Maine-Endwell's M.E.A.L.S. program that helps feed hungry families in the Maine-Endwell School District.  Another work involves Rotary International and their work establishing a water purification project in Haiti.

The Endwell Rotary Pancake Breakfast also enables other district Rotary groups to visit and promote their own projects as well.  In addition other non-profit groups are invited to talk about events that they have coming up in future months.

Several hundred people attended the breakfast and volunteers from the Endwell Rotary cooked and served the meals.  Key Club members also helped with serving and clean-up.  WNBF's Roger Neel was on hand for a live radio remote on the Sunday Polka Party With Steve Krall.
