The New York State Public High School Class B football champions were cheered by a large crowd of Spartans fans today during a parade held on Farm to Market Road and Hooper Road in Endwell.

Players, coaches and staff marched in the parade as well as the High School  band.  The parade began at 945 AM and formed at the M-E Middle School and proceeded past the High School and on to Hooper Road where the procession ended at the O L Davis Volunterer Fire Company.

The parade was led by a police escort from  Broome County Sheriiff's Deputies and several fire trucks.

The Spartans closed their season with a win over Glens Falls in the Carrier Dome.  M-E finished 13-0 and are unbeaten in 25 straight games.  Last year's team captured the state Class A championship with a slate of 12-0.  With a drop in enrollment the Spartans competed in Class B competition this season.
