Endicott police say a woman was robbed at gunpoint in the same area where a man was attacked and robbed by three teenagers two months ago.

Authorities say the latest incident near Watson Boulevard and Rogers Avenue happened around 9:45 Monday night.

A woman in her early 20s was walking to work when she was accosted by three teenagers, one of whom stuck a gun to her chest and demanded her purse.

The weapon was described as being small and black. Police say it may have been a BB gun.

Detectives say some property that belonged to the woman has been recovered, along with clothing that may have been worn by the suspects.

A yellow-and-black scarf that's been found may have been worn by the robber who had the gun.

Also recovered were a medium-size black COOGI brand puffy-style jacket. A large-size black hooded Architect brand sweatshirt with a rip in the right-side arm pit also was found.

Endicott detectives asked anyone with information about the robbery or the owners of the clothing to call 607.757.2479.

This week's incident happened very close to the location where an October 7th strong armed robbery occurred. In that case, cash and some other items were taken from a 36-year-old man.

Three teenagers were charged in that heist.

An Endicott police investigator told WNBF News that he doesn't believe the two robberies are related.
