Police say an Endicott resident faces a half-dozen charges following a heroin sale in the Town of Union.

Authorities say 47-year-old Janelle White of Arthur Avenue was arrested Tuesday night.

According to the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, White was in possession of heroin and crack cocaine when she was taken into custody.

Investigators say she was accused of possessing drugs in the Village of Endicott on another occasion.

Officials say White was taken into custody by task force members who were assisted by Endicott police officers. They did not say where she was when investigators found her.

White was charged with three felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She also was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

White was arraigned in Endicott village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
