A driver faces charges following a vehicle crash in the town of Conklin.

Authorities say 28-year-old Lynsey Moody of Endicott was arrested after a vehicle struck a stop sign at the intersection of Conklin Road and Morris Boulevard.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle operated by Moody was traveling south on Conklin Road when she tried to make a left turn onto Morris Boulevard. The vehicle hit the stop sign.

Investigators say the crash happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday. They say the driver's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.20 percent.

Moody was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content above 0.18 percent and DWI as a first offense.

Moody was released on an appearance ticket for a later court date.
