A Broome County woman faces DWI and other charges following a hit-and-run crash in Apalachin.

Authorities say 48-year-old Lisa Weaver of Endicott was arrested Wednesday after a vehicle struck a utility pole and two sign posts at the intersection of Route 434 and Griffin Drive.

State police say the damaged vehicle was driven from the scene of the crash. A trooper spotted the vehicle a short distance away.

Weaver was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and moving from a lane unsafely. She was arraigned in Owego town court and ordered to appear at a future date.
