Investigators say an Endicott woman faces four felony counts after she allegedly printed bogus payroll checks and cashed them at Visions Federal Credit Union.

Authorities say 48-year-old Katherine Wright of Jefferson Avenue was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

According to Endicott police, Wright is suspected of stealing more than $2,600 in the scheme.

A detective said Wright may have learned of the scam from a Craigslist posting. After discovering the scheme, she allegedly tried it herself.

Wright is said to have cashed the checks at Visions automatic teller machines.
