Endicott Teen Charged in Robbery Attempt

An Endicott teen is facing a felony charge for allegedly trying to steal a wallet from another boy.

Village Police say 16 year old John Carter is charged with attempted robbery in connection with a report of a boy trying to forcibly steal a wallet from another 16 year old on September 25 on Washington Avenue.

The other teen was able to prevent the robbery but suffered scrapes and bruises.

Police say they found Carter about two blocks away and took him into custody.

Carter was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
