Endicott Resident Charged with Felony for Counterfeit Money

An Endicott resident is accused of trying to buy beer with a fake twenty dollar bill at an East Main Street convenience store. Village police say 25 year old Leean Fabas is charged with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly trying to buy two, 24-ounce Genny Ice beer cans from the store last month. Fabas was sent to the Broome County jail without bail.
