The man also was accused of sending the girl a video of himself performing a sexual act.
Authorities say 18-year-old Collin Barney of Nichols faces two felony charges. Police say he was charged with use of a child in a sexual performance and disseminating indecent material to a minor.
According to the Endicott police department, Barney was arrested following an investigation that began about three weeks ago. Detectives say Barney is a friend of the girl's family.
