An Endicott woman and her teenaged son are accused of selling heroin.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force raided the home of 38 year old Mary Moriarty and her 19 year old son, Dylan Weidow on Hill Avenue May 6 and confiscated around 500 bags of heroin, a .22-caliber rifle, drug packaging material, unpackaged heroin, $260 in counterfeit money and $450 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Moriarty is charged with 3 felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal sale of a controlled substance, felony weapon possession, four misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Weidow is charged with six felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, four misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia as well as misdemeanor criminal possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both were sent to the Broome County Jail.
