The Endicott man accused of luring a Wisconsin woman to Broome County through the website LinkedIn and forcing her to have sex with him is turning down the offer of a plea deal.

50 year old Larry Servedio will now stand trial on 24 counts of kidnapping, rape and torture instead of going to prison for two consecutive seven-and-a-half years for two counts of kidnapping.

Investigators found the 52 year old woman by using cell phone signals after her family reported she was missing and had cut off contact, leading them to believe she was being held against her will.

She and Servedio were approached by Endicott police and the woman signaled to the officer that she needed help, leading to Servedio’s arrest.

He was indicted by a grand jury in September and is being held in the Broome County Jail.

There has been no date set for a trial.
