Endicott Man Found in Parking Lot With Mom’s Car and Drugs
An Endicott man is facing a felony stolen property charge and four misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance after Johnson City Police say they found him bent over, face down in the trunk of a stolen car in the parking lot of the Oakdale Mall.
Johnson City Police say they were contacted at around 6:30 Friday evening by Tioga County Sheriff’s office asking them to check the mall parking lot for the reported stolen vehicle.
25 year old Adam Morneau was in a semi-conscious state and had to be awakened by police.
Police say they believed Morneau was under the influence of drugs and a pill bottle was found in the center console containing several different controlled substance pills.
The reported stolen car belongs to his mom.
Morneau was sent to the Broome County Jail.
