Endicott Man Charged In Washington Avenue Theft

A resident of an Endicott motel has been accused of stealing items from another room in the building.

Authorities say the incident happened at the Endicott Inn at 214 Washington Avenue.

Village police say 43-year-old Ronald Richardson was arrested Friday. He was taken into custody on Washington Avenue.

Detectives say Richardson's motel room was searched and some of the stolen property was found.

Richardson was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony. He was arraigned in Endicott village court and sent to Broome County jail without bail.
