Employee Accused of Sexual Contact with Group Home Resident

A Johnson City woman faces a felony charge for allegedly having sexual contact with a resident of a town of Dickinson group home.

State police at Endwell say 37-year-old Joyce Prince was arrested today.

Investigators say Prince was charged with felony criminal sexual act. She also was charged with a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of an incompetent person.

Police say Prince is alleged to have had inappropriate contact with a male resident of the home last September.

Prince was arraigned in Dickinson town court. She was released pending further court proceedings.

The investigation is continuing. It's being conducted by the state police, the Broome County District Attorney's Office and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
