New York State Police News Release:

The New York State Police in Norwich is currently looking for 81 year old Alfred H. Turshman who is missing from his home at 232 Frye Road in the Town of German.  On August 15, 2015, at about 3:00p.m., Mr. Turshman was reported missing from his home by family members.  He had last been seen on August 14th at approximately 1:00p.m., in the hamlet of Cincinnatus.  A search of the area is being conducted by State Police Troopers and BCI, the State Police Aviation Unit, State Police K-9s, State Police SCUBA Unit along with the NYS Forest Rangers, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, the Cincinnatus Fire Department and volunteer search and rescue personnel from three counties.

Mr. Turshman is an 81 year old white male who has dementia.  He is 5’08” and weighs about 180 pounds.  He is bald and may be wearing a light blue and tan button down long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and brown loafers.
