The owners of an old Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory building on Page Avenue in West Endicott in the Town of Union have until March 19 to button up the property that has been the scene of vandalism and break-ins for years.

The Town has also ordered the owners to secure an $800,000 bond to pay for repairs to the dilapidated property by April 15.

Many neighbors in the area want the property torn down.

The building on the lot has been cited for several code violations in the past six years.
