Eight Drug Kingpin Indictment

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]An eighth suspect is under indictment in what authorities are calling the Binghamton Kingpin Drug Case.

45 year old Jamie Allen was indicted on two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.

That follows a 45 count indictment of seven defendants, including Devon Johnson, who is accused of being the ring-leader of the heroin distribution operation.

The gang is accused of trafficking thousands of dollars worth of heroin through the region.

While several defendants have entered guilty pleas, Johnson has turned down plea deal offers.
