Early Morning Fire in Binghamton

Binghamton firefighters responded to an apartment building fire at 259 Front Street at 4:26 a.m. December 24.

The building is at 259 Front Street.  Firemen report the fire broke out in a second floor dwelling.  The building is a wood frame, 2.5 story building.  No injuries were reported.

Fire apparatus blocked the south lane of Front Street in front of the building for several hours.
