An Endicott man is facing a number of charges after Broome County Sheriff’s officials got a report shortly at 3:38 a.m. Saturday of a driver hitting a parked car on North Rogers Avenue in the Town of Union before coming to rest in the front yard of a home.

Deputies say 27 year old Chad Warner then tried to leave the scene and backed into another parked vehicle before being stopped on the street by residents.

Authorities say they found Warner had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening and was intoxicated.

Warner is charged with driving while intoxicated, backing unsafely, moving from a lane unsafely, no front license plate, refusal to take a breath test and unlawful possession of a small amount of marijuana.

He was released to a responsible party.
