The life of the former artistic director of the Tri Cities Opera is being celebrated through music June 14 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church.

Duane Skrabalak passed away last year but has left an indelible mark on the  Binghamton arts community.

Skrabalak’s siblings have established an award in his memory at Johnson City High School.

A concert produced by former adjunct professor Peter Sicilian will feature music styles ranging from opera to jazz, Broadway and country and will begin at 3 p.m. at the church off Highland Avenue, Binghamton.

General admission tickets are $20 at the door for adults with student admission set at $10.
