A motorcyclist is recovering from what are described as serious injuries after colliding with a car on Montrose Drive at Route 7 in Conklin July 28.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 45 year old Santo Oliver of Dryden was injured when a car turned in front of him, pushing his bike into a Jeep that was waiting to drive onto Route 7. No occupants of the car nor Jeep was injured in the incident

The name of the driver of the car was not available. That person was ticketed for failing to yield to the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
