Drunk Driving Charged in Sherburne Crash

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials responding to a report of a crash on State Highway 12B in the Town of Sherburne June 1^st arrested a Town of Sherburne man for driving while intoxicated.

Authorities say 25 year old Randy Wilcox Junior and a woman were in a southbound vehicle shortly before 8 p.m. that left the road, hit several objects, damaging the vehicle and private property along the way before leaving the scene, headed toward Norwich.

Several 911 calls led Deputies to Wilcox’s vehicle on Route 12 in Norwich.

Wilcox was charged with DWI and sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Sheriff’s officials say the investigation is continuing.
