Drugs, Silver Bars & 6 Suspects Nabbed in Delaware Drug Raid
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says a half dozen suspected drug dealers have been taken off the street following a five-month long investigation.
October 17, authorities arrested Belinda Davis and Randal Babcock, Junior, both of Sidney, Chad Walters of Mount Upton, Donna Bonacci and her son Gabriel Bonacci of Sidney and Rene Hurlburt of Unadilla in connection with suspected sales of heroin, cocaine and prescription controlled substances in the Village and Town of Sidney starting this past June.
Officials say they found hundreds of prescription drugs, marijuana, over 400 ounces of .999 pure silver bars worth $7,000, $6,500 cash and a variety of control substances, including cocaine and heroin, packaged for sale.
All six were sent to the Delaware County Jail.
Authorities say their investigation is continuing and further arrests and felony charges are expected in relation with the search at the Bonacci home on County Highway 23.
