An Ithaca-area man faces drug charges after he was stopped for speeding in Tioga County.

Authorities say 22-year-old Jason Rezek of Freeville was pulled over by a sheriff's deputy on Glenmary Drive in the town of Tioga.

Deputies searched the vehicle after they detected a strong odor of marijuana.

They found marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine and suspected LSD. They also discovered about $2500 in cash, along with scales and packaging materials.

Investigators say Rezek was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and marijuana possession. He also was cited for speeding and possessing an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

Rezek was arraigned in Tioga town court. He was to Tioga County Jail on $25,000 bail.
