Drugs and Weapon Charges in Chenango County
Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A probation check is translating into drug and weapon charges for a convicted felon in Chenango County.
Sheriff’s officials and New York State Police checked on a home on County Road 16 in the Town of Otselic Thursday, February 25 and say they found 56 year old Calvin Parker, a convicted felon, was in possession of a Remington 870 .20 gage shotgun, marijuana and digital scales.
29 year old Heather Naylor was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
Officials say they also found a one-pot methamphetamine lab at the home and about 20 ounces of liquid methamphetamine.
Parker is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is also being charged with criminally possessing methamphetamine precursors, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon.
Naylor is being charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine, criminally possessing methamphetamine precursors and unlawful possession of marijuana.
