An East Syracuse man is accused of driving while on drugs when he crashed into a utility pole in Cortland County, snapping it.

New York State Police say 26 year old Brandon Orzan was arrested Wednesday, June 29 at 12:36 p.m. when they responded to the crash on State Route 281 in the town of Preble.

Officials say they also found the 2003 Lincoln Town Car Orzan was driving was reported stolen in Onondaga County.

In addition to a charge of driving while impaired by drugs and traffic violations in Cortland County, Orzan has been advised by the Onondaga Sheriff’s Office he will be facing additional charges in connection with the car theft.
