The man accused of leading a big drug trafficking operation in the region is accepting a plea deal.

So-called “Drug Kingpin” Terrence Wise, who turned down previous plea offers, has now pleaded guilty to drug possession and sale of drugs near a school, avoiding a major trafficker charge that could have sent him to jail for 15 years to life.

The plea deal will send him to prison for 10 years.

He’s accused of orchestrating the drug dealing operation that funneled tens of thousands of dollars worth of heroin into the region.

He was busted, along with a half dozen other defendants, in July 28th drug raids.

Wise will be sentenced in February.
