Delaware County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested a Davenport man on a Sealed Indictment charging him with the A-1 felony offense of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree.  According to police reports Delaware County Sheriff's Investigators arrested 33 year-old Jason M. Wilsey upon his surrender with his attorney.

Wilsey was arraigned before County Court Judge Becker and posted bail set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

The indictment and arrest are the result of a nearly two year investigation conducted by members of the Delaware and Otsego County Sherriff's Office Criminal  Investigation Divisions, the United States Drug Enforcement  Administration, Albany and other law enforcement agencies into the source and sale of pharmaceutical Oxycodone powder in Otsego, Delaware and surrounding counties.

Wilsey is accused of selling more than two ounces of Oxycodone on December 21, 2012.  His brother, Robert J. Wilsey was arrested on that same date and charged with a Class A-II felony offense of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree following the execution of a search warrant.

The investigation also revealed that Jason Wilsey was a source of Oxycodone powder distributed by Dante Major who was recently sentenced to 55 years to life as well as fined $260,000 in Otsego County court for the crime of Operating as a Major Trafficker.
