Driver With Dozens of Suspensions Arrested in Johnson City

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say a Bronx man, pulled over for driving erratically on Route 201 in Johnson City had 34 suspensions on his driver’s license.

Officials say 28 of the suspensions for 37 year old Andre Collins were for failure to answer a summons or pay a fine on 11 separate dates, mainly in New York City.

Collins is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and several vehicle and traffic law violations.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Evelyn Francis of Binghamton, who was the owner of the vehicle and a front seat passenger, was ticketed for facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation.
