Driver Escapes Injury After Plunge Into Frozen Susquehanna County Lake

A Susquehanna, Pennsylvania man has miraculously escaped injury in spite of plunging his pickup truck into a lake.

State Police say 21 year old Jordan Longacre was driving on Tyler Lake Road in Harford Township shortly after midnight Friday when his truck went off the road while decending a hill.

The Ford F250 hit several small trees and an embankment before it overturned into a frozen lake, breaking through the ice.

The truck’s cab was submerged but Longacre was able to get out through the passenger door.  He’s charged with careless driving.
