A Town of Union man was arrested following a car crash near his home.

Authorities say 24-year-old Michael Hopko of West Corners was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, a car driven by Hopko struck a stop sign and several metal fence posts at the intersection of Glendale Drive and Jeanette Road. The crash occurred early Thursday morning.
