Sheriff’s Officials responded to a report of stolen road and stop signs in the Town of Delhi in late February.

Authorities now say they arrested 18 year old Russell Storey of Andes, 18 year old Dylan Reed of Margaretville and a 17 year old Roxbury boy.

The teens are charged with felony counts of grand larceny and criminal mischief.

20 year old Darian Scudder of Halcottsville is also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of stolen property.

Deputies say they recovered more than 30 signs owned by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Delaware County Department of Public Works, the Towns of Andes, Middletown, Roxbury and Hardenburgh as well as several Coldwell Banker/Timberland Properties real estate signs.

Authorities say the signs were worth more than $1,000 and the cost of repairing the damaged ones was put at over $250.

The suspects have been ordered to appear in Town of Middletown Court at a later date.
