Dozens Of Guns Stolen From Norwich Store

Investigators say dozens of guns were stolen in a pair of burglaries at a Chenango County store.

According to New York State Police, at least 22 handguns and several long guns were taken from Mayhood’s Sporting Goods on Route 12 in Norwich.

Authorities say the separate incidents happened between about 10 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

In addition to the weapons, numerous boxes of ammunition were reported stolen.

Police say the list of stolen items had not been completed.

Investigators released images obtained from the store surveillance system.
