The selling season's over for the outdoor farmers' market in downtown Binghamton.

Shoppers Friday afternoon were treated to fresh fruits and vegetables grown in New York and Pennsylvania.

Vendors who set up tables along Collier Street said it had been a good growing season.

They said business had been good at the downtown farmers' market, which had been held on Tuesdays and Fridays since early June.

The conditions for this year's final installment of the Collier Street market were cloudy and blustery with a few sprinkles. Although the weather may have been less than ideal on the final day, vendors said most days for this year's farmers' market had been sunny and pleasant.
