An online survey is being conducted as the state Department of Transportation explores options regarding a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 81 in the town of Dickinson.

DOT officials are encouraging people who use the aging span to participate in the survey. It may be accessed here.

The bridge was built in 1968 to assist pedestrians across the newly-constructed interstate highway.

Transportation department representatives will hold an informational meeting about the bridge Thursday evening. The session will be at the Dickinson town hall at 531 Old Front Street. Door will open at 6:30 p.m. with a presentation scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
