Donna Lupardo Chairs Assembly Committee on Aging

New York State Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo of Endwell is the new chair of the Assembly Committee on Aging.

AARP of New York praised the appointment of the Democrat to the position saying she has supported older New Yorkers during the span of her career in the legislature.

AARP noted past accomplishments like a law preparing family members to provide care for loved ones at home following discharge from the hospital, more workplace retirement options and support for grandparents raising their grandchildren
