Donations Still Sought for Wendy’s Walk for Kids

Donations are still being accepted for the Wendy’s Walk for Kids, even though the walk itself was held August 30 during the final round of the Dicks Open at En-Joie Golf Course.

It’s estimated over 500 people turned out for the 7^th annual charity walk that raises money for programs that benefit local children.

The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier, Kopernik Observatory and Science Center, OurSpace at Recreation Park and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption are the groups being funded by this year’s walk.

Donations can be made online at www.wendyswalkforkids.com until September 15.
