Thanks to the deep pockets of a 1988 graduate, Maine Endwell High School will have a new 'Field of Dreams.'

Chairman of Legendary Entertainment, and part-owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Thomas Tull is giving a donation of $2.2 million to his alma mater for development of a new baseball field and lights for the football stadium.

That kind of spending had been well out of reach for M.E. over the past year while the district struggled with serious financial issues.  Those issues had sparked several discussions about possible program and staff cuts to close a budget gap.
