Vehicle trouble resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old woman in the town of Barton.

Authorities say Connie Poarch of Waverly was ordered held in Tioga County Jail after deputies noticed her sitting in a disabled vehicle on West Talmadge Hill Road.

According to the sheriff's office, Poarch was taken into custody because she was wanted on a warrant for felony welfare fraud.

Investigators say Poarch was sent to the county jail without bail.
