Protests both in support of police and in reaction to what has been seen as police brutality in the deaths of unarmed black men around the nation are continuing and expanding.

December 22, Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge commented on WNBF’s Binghamton Now that the Village has not seen any demonstrations.

Hours later, dozens of protestors staged a “die-in” at the Oakdale Mall to demonstrate against police related violence.

The demonstration lasted less than five minutes and did not disrupt holiday shoppers.
