Two people are facing charges in Delaware County in connection with an investigation into the theft of a 20-foot snowmobile trailer and four snowmobiles from Danville Pennsylvania overnight March 12.

Sheriff’s officials say they recovered two of the four snow machines on Sands Creek Road in the Town of Hancock and the remaining two vehicles on Airport Road in Deposit April 2 following information provided by police in Danville.

During the course of that investigation, 43 year old Tammy Moore of Deposit was arrested April 3 and charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated for have a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle, driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. She was sent to the Delaware County Jail and later also charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property.

The next morning, members of the South Abington Township, Pennsylvania Police recovered the stolen trailer.

28 year old Matthew Mason of Hancock, formerly of Deposit was arrested April 4 by Delaware County sheriff’s officials and charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property and was sent to the Delaware County Jail.

Later, a search of the Sands Creek Road home shared by Moore and Mason turned up marijuana plants, processed marijuana, a video surveillance system and drug packaging materials.  That has resulted in new marijuana cultivation and possession charges and more arrests and charges are possible.
