The Denver Broncos have defeated the Carolina Panthers to win Super Bowl 50 by a final score of 24-10.

Linebacker Von Miller led the Broncos defense in shutting down Carolina's high-powered offense.  Miller was named the MVP of the game.

Peyton Manning finished the game and possibly his career going 13-23 and 141 yards passing.  Speculation is: Manning will retire and not return for another season in the National Football League.

This is the third Super Bowl championship for the Broncos' franchise.  Now team president John Elway led Denver to back- to-back titles in 1997 and 1998.

Denver held a 13-7 lead at halftime.  The Broncos' defense held Carolina star quarterback Cam Newton to 95 yards passing as he went 8-19 and was sacked three times in the game.
