Delhi Man Accused Of Driving Drunk To Police Station

A Delaware County man who state police say drove to their station to pick up an intoxicated person wound up being charged with DWI himself.

Authorities say 52-year-old Thomas Jefferys of Delhi drove into the parking lot of the Margaretville state police station to provide a ride to someone who was being released.

State police say the driver's blood alcohol content was measured at .10 percent.

Jefferys was ordered to appear in Middletown town court August 15.
