The Commissioner of Social Services in Delaware County is announcing the resignation of a Senior Caseworker who has been embroiled in legal action over the estate of a former client.

Commissioner Dana Scuderi-Hunter says Carolyn Massey, who worked in the Adult Protective Services Unit, resigned at the end of last month in the face of charges filed under Delaware County's ethics policy.

Scuderi-Hunter says Massey was involved in litigation in connection with a monetary bequest from the Estate of deceased Protective Services client, Lumina Accardi.
