New York State Police say they have captured three suspects in connection with a reported attempted robbery and shooting in the parking lot of the Hess Mart on State Route 28 in the Village of Margaretville at 10:13 p.m. November 6.

Troopers in Delaware County say they located a man and two women suspected in the incident at a motel on State Route 28 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York.

Investigators say 34 year old Keishaun Harper of Charlotte, North Carolina is accused of assaulting 23 year old Mackenzie Alexander of Arkville while she was in the back of a car at the Hess Mart parking lot.

Troopers say during the assault, Alexander was allegedly shot in the shoulder by Harper.

She was sent to Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Harper is charged with felony assault and attempted robbery.

His companions, 32 year old Joann Winne of Margaretville and 24 year old Danielle Vitale of Arkville are charged with felony attempted robbery.

All three were sent to the Delaware County Jail.

The investigation is continuing.
