David and Christine Kerr — An Upstate Family’s Battle with Cancer

A story of sorrow and joy.  Milford Central School graduates David (2004) and Christine (2002) Kerr tell their tale of battling cancer, the birth of their daughter, and having a wish come true.  I was so glad to meet this couple.  Thank you David for serving our country and sharing your story to bring hope to others.

After returning home from Afghanistan last summer, David was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. His wife had just given birth to their daughter, and the news crushed the family.

David began chemo therapy immediate. He wanted to live long enough to see his daughter turn a year old and see his brother get married.
