Dairy Distribution Facility Opens in Binghamton

A second business is operating in the old Crowley plant on Binghamton’s South Side.

City officials turned out to formally announce the opening of the Instantwhip Foods distribution facility on Conklin Avenue.

The national dairy company distributes Upstate Farms milk, Turkey Hill ice cream, Tropicana juice and drinks and other dairy and non-dairy products.

The Binghamton facility service retail, food service and institutional accounts in the Southern Tier, Central New York and Northeast Pennsylvania.

The operation moved from Endwell and currently has ten employees with plans to add five more in three years.

In November, Mountain Fresh Dairy began producing kosher dairy products at the location.
